On Friday September 23rd, 2016 Le Bustiere Boutique and Alliance Française brought the heat of French fashion to the Nation’s Capital, lingerie style.
Le Bustiere Boutique first joined forces with Alliance Française in 2015 for the First Annual “Beyond the Little Black Dress” Fashion Show at the Dupont Circle hotel. The idea is to not forget that ‘There is a shade of red for every woman” as the always elegant Audrey Hepburn once said. This marked the Alliance’s first fashion show in over 40 years! The Alliance’s Executive Director, Sara D., first met boutique owner Stephanie on a visit to Le Bustiere. The two bonded over their devotion to the community and Le Bustiere’s community service work with Thrive DC. As they say, le reste est de l’histoire (the rest is history)! The boutique made an appearance again this year showcasing our latest sensual loungewear and lingerie underpinnings.
“The Alliance Française of Washington, D.C. serves as the leading center for French language, French culture and francophone resources in the Nation’s Capital. Alliance Française of Washington, D.C. enriches the lives of the D.C. community by offering the chance to connect with people of different backgrounds and cultures in order to better understand and appreciate the greater global community.”
The Alliance Meets Le Bustiere Boutique 2016
The night was filled with lingerie stylings of French and Russian influence. Le Bustiere brought forth several exquisite Parisian pieces that are a must add to your Fall wardrobe. With awesome photography, it maybe a good idea to also try JG Boudoir for some modelling lingerie photo shoots to capture those artisitc moments.
First up, model Toni adorned in Aubade’s bra and panty garter set coupled with an elegant robe from Dear Bowie. A combination of burgundy and navy silk drape perfectly over this luxurious Aubade lingerie set. Two side slits create a gentle elegant addition to this already graceful ensemble.

Up next, a strikingly sexy two in one lace bodysuit from ID Sarrieri. A lace long-sleeved overlay meets a silky modal T-back bodysuit. This number can be worn together or separately. Wear the lace overlay alone for a hot night at home, or, wear the body suit and a pencil skirt out for a night on the town.
Finally, the Le Bustiere lineup closed with this floor length piece from ID Sarrieri. The lace gown embroidered in exquisite red detail provides a sensual see through look. The length and material allow for an effortless glide down the runway. As we head into the Fall months, a piece such as this is exactly what you need.
The Alliance Française and Le Bustiere continue to foster their budding relationship in hopes of showing the District of Columbia the riches of French culture through fashion and more!
