Adams Morgan Day 2016

Adams Morgan Day 2016

Adams Morgan Day 2016 is happening Sept 11th 2016 this year and we are excited about it as always.
It is happening between 18th St NW between Florida Ave. and Columbia Rd, Washington, DC.
You should come up Columbia Road and visit us as well during Adams Morgan Day. We will be having some activities and promotions going on.

Le Bustiere Boutique
1744 Columbia Rd NW #2
Washington, DC 20009
(202)-745-8080

We wanted to take this opportunity and mention some of favorite local places to dine and hang out in Adams Morgan.   This is by no means all of the places we love in the local area but we just wanted to highlight a few in the local vicinity.  It is also in no particular order and we love all of our local neighbors.

Meze`
2437  18th St NW
Washington, DC 20009
(202)-797-0017

We love popping into Meze and getting a quick bite to eat. The eggplant babaganush is fabulous. The lentil soup and lamb beef meatballs are also favorites of ours.   Service has always been great and it is easy to get a seat.

Southern Hospitality
1815 Adams Mill Rd NW.
Washington, DC 20009
(202) 588-0411

One of our favorite locations to hang out for a chill dinner, happy hour or brunch is Soho DC. Their brunch is fabulous and the atmosphere makes for a great place for a group outing. They have great savory southern dishes and cocktails.

Yes! Organic Market
1825 Columbia Rd NW
Washington, DC 20009
(202) 462-2069

I used to love going in here and getting a freshly pressed veggie juice with carrots, beets, celery, and cucumber. You can choose your own veggies. I’m not sure if they make fresh veggie juice still since they seemed to be moving away from it. They also have some great granola  and organic snacks.

Tryst
2459 18th St NW
Washington, DC 20009
(202) 232-5500

Tryst is a great place to stop for brunch on the weekend. My personal favorites are the spinach frittata and quiche and I also like the Stephanie burger. No relation to our ‘Stephanie’ at Le Bustiere.

Roofers Union
2446 18th St NW
Washington, DC 20009
(202) 232-7663

Roofers Union has one of the best rooftop views and good bar food. I recently had the lamb burger. The beers on tap are also very nice.

I took the featured photo from Roofers Union and you can notice the Line Hotel DC being constructed behind Madams Organ.

Mellow Mushroom
2436 18th St NW
Washington, DC 20009
(202) 290 – 2778

Mellow Mushroom is known for its vegan and gluten-free pizza pies. We like the white gormet pie.
They also have a rooftop area which we know all Washingtonians love.

The Potter’s House
1658 Columbia RD NW
Washington, DC 20009
(202) 232-5483

The Potter’s House is a non-profit cafe, bookstore and event space where deep conversations are had. Its a great place to grab some ‘how much do you want to pay’ seasonal soup and a great read.

Songbyrd Record Café
2477 18th St NW
Washington, DC 20009
202) 450-2917

Songbyrd is fairly new to the Adams Morgan scene. I like to go in here and get a vanilla chai or byrd in hand turkey sandwich and check out their vinyl stacks and used LP’s. They also have headphones to play some tunes. Their pressed grilled cheese is amazing, and their nitro coffee is a sure pick-me-up.
